Robert Martino left Top Vice to Join Sweet Micky, a move most people in the industry thought to be very odd considering Robert’s son Roberto and Reynaldo’s history with Sweet Micky. Second, after Robert joined Sweet Micky, he went on many interviews disrespecting his former band-mates, a move that was worse than joining Micky’s band in the first place.

In the saga of Robert Martino Vs Sweet Micky it’s safe to say that Robert has raised the white flag. It seems as if everybody involved including those bystanders knew Martino wasn’t really going to work out. Micky started looking for a younger replacement for Martino a couple of months after Robert joined him, saying Robert style of playing made his band sound too old. But at the time Robert was completely oblivious to the whole fact that he was later, rather sooner going to be replaced.

WHAT MADE MARTINO JOIN SWEET MICKY?

This was the most unpredictable merger in the whole industry, until today, most of us are still wonder why. Considering Martino’s ex-wife and their son’s past relationship with Micky, you would think this would be out of the question but Martino shocked the whole industry when he decided to leave Top Vice to join Micky and gave Top Vice a tongue lashing in the process. After a few months, Robert Martino came to the Gruesome discovery that he really needs Top Vice after all. After Robert made such blunt remarks about his former bandmates, one would think that there were no possibilities of any return. Robert’s return has been in negotiation for a few weeks now but it’s official, he’s back with Top Vice. Where does current guitarist Ralph Conde stand at this point? As of right now, Ralph is staying put but you never know what’s to come. Currently, Ralph Conde is Top Vice’s guitarist so how will Top Vice solve this issue of the two guitarists? We’ll see.
